In the line of thought-evoking short films by Baburaj Asariya, his next is Chirakalam. A short play that emotionally moves people of all ages, and leaves them thoughtful.
Chirakalam is an 8-minute lengthy short film with a path so substantial for a world of humanity that we foresee. Every character is illustrated with an emotion of selfless love and compassion. The plot revolves around the deceased doctor who had decided to donate his organs to the needy to bring them to life and sustain humankind. The loss of this wonderful person was extremely difficult for his spouse, but despite that, she focuses on sustaining the smile on her junior’s face. The junior’s character is well portrayed by the child artist who emotes every emotion so elegantly that melts everyone’s heart.
Chirakalam has a great message for the entire human race, which is the love and care for one another. Leaving this world whilst leaving parts of the body for others to live wholly. An emotion that can be felt in every sequence of the short film. Director Asariya is always promising with themes based on social and human causes. These relentless efforts are recognized worldwide bagging many awards and special honors. His film production and distribution house Collective Frames is also enabling many new Directors to showcase their brilliance to connect to many people across the globe through OTT Platforms, Satellite Channels and Theatres.
