What is Your Stand On Harthal?
So, it’s another Harthal today. We, at TrivandrumLife are having a strong opinion that Harthals must be banned, and should be called as a crime. Disrupting public life and freedom, wasting millions with an unproductive day, what do we get from a Harthal? As in today’s case, do the prices go down after this harthal?

I actually support the right to strike. Sure – why not. If you want to strike work by all means do – because you have a fundamental right of freedom in this country called India.
BUT – and this is a big but, you do not have any right to curtail my freedom or cause injury to my life or property just because I do not support your reason to strike. I respect it but I may/may not support it.
FREEDOM – I am proud to be an Indian. I hate it when people try to take it away from me and that is what a Harthal does. No different from what the Britishers did!!
