National Theater Festival 2010 In Trivandrum
Trivandrum is a host for yet another art festival from today. The National Theater Fest will be starting in Trivandrum in its 6th iteration. The festival, being organised by Department of Public Relations, South Zone Culture Centre and the National School of Drama, traces the evolution of Indian theatre. This sixth episode of the festival highlights the theme- Modern-Contemporary Theatre will be a unique experience with the presence of up-to-the-date drama techniques, a real light and sound show without losing the essence of drama.
Sheduled from March 10 – 17, the Fest will be played in Tagore Theater. Plays are all scheduled in the evening, so we can expect some heavy audience there. The curtains will be raised by the inuguration ceremony by 6.30 PM today. First play will be from Abhinaya group Trivandrum – Sagara Kannyaka.
