IBM and Oracle eye Technopark as next destination
It was Technopark which paved way for IT in Kerala and it still responsible for the major chunk of employment in IT/ITES sector in Kerala. Already a home for close to 30, 000 employees, Technopark is expanding it’s borders at a pace never before.
There were rumours about IBM opening their shops in Technopark and a few have reported high officials from Oracle paying a visit to Technopark campus. Good news is that, rumours are going to be true and it have been confirmed from credible sources that both IBM and Oracle are looking to open office in Technopark.
Words of an official from State IT department shows positive signs,
“We feel that this endeavour by these IT companies is part of their strategy to move into tier-II (smaller)cities in the country and they are seriously considering Technopark. We feel positive about their efforts and if this happens then it would be a major boost to the industry in the state”

My only question is, why this late?

Any solid reason to believe it’s not true? When you try to say something like this, try to say why you believe it’s not going to happen

So why has the Economic Times carried this news-report on the same?
Surely the Technopark officials knows what they’re saying and the Econimic Times knows what they’re typing. The question is DO YOU?
