Fun For Kids by Alliance Française de Trivandrum
To encourage and explore the creativity and imagination of children a ‘novel’ competition is being organised by Alliance Française de Trivandrum:
A Painting Competition for children based on a story, at 10.00 am, on 24 April @ Alliance Francaise de Trivandrum. It will be followed by screening of French children’s films Kirikou and the Wild, Raining Cats and Frogs. There will also be opportunity to interact with well known children’s writer and illustrator T.R.Rajesh, who will also be the judge of the competition.
The competition is aimed at instilling the joys of exploration, creativity and imagination in children.
Free Registration for the competition is open till 22 April.
A Craft Workshop by Satheendran is being organised at 10.00am, on 25 April, at Alliance Française de Trivandrum. The workshop is designed to inspire and enhance skills involving practical arts.
A Magic Workshop is also being organised as part of “Children’s specials”. R.Raja Moorthy, Honorary Director, Magic Academy, one of the leading close-up magicians of the country will conduct the Workshop at 10.30am, on 4 May @ Alliance Française de Trivandrum
A Book Reading workshop in three languages: Malayalam, French and English, designed to augment the reading habits and linguistic skills of children is organised on at 11.00 am, 5 May @ Alliance Française de Trivandrum. Famous Malayalam Children’s writer Sippy Pallippuram, Corentine Obeuf and Sophie Diveres will take part in the Workshop.
Aimed at augmenting the Scientific Aptitude of kids and to make Science, fun to learn a Workshop:
Science Through Games by Prof.Aravindakshan is also being organised on 8 May at 09.30 am @ Alliance Française de Trivandrum, followed by screening of French children’s film Black Mor’s Island.
