Designer Profile:
Deepa R Pillai is a multifaceted personality with her creative skills spreading wings
across various art forms; she is a woman of diverse artistic talent and extreme
aesthetic
Her varied interests and creative brain have led her to start designing sarees . The
concept of Ethnic Saries originated when Deepa Pillai started receiving appreciation
for sarees that she designed for herself. Other reasons that laid foundation for
her professional entry include her passion towards fine designs and patterns, love
for ethnic and traditional wear, more importantly the grace that an Indian woman
portrays in the totally Indian possession, the glorious Classic Cotton Saree! The
ethnicity of the saree, more so, the aura that Cotton Saree creates and influences an
Indian woman is mind blowing. She credits her success to encouragement from her
mother, mother-in-law, her husband and her two Daughters. Without their support,
says she, her efforts would have been incomplete.
Deepa Pillai has captured that string and exploited the art in which Ethnic Handmade
Cotton sarees can be made more alluring, captivating, enchanting, enriching,
